Giving everyday life a recognisable voice.
For Kapos Mazi, the challenge was to connect a Greek-language voice with an identity flexible enough for a joke, a quiet observation or a familiar household scene.
Start with the relationship.
The name κάπως μαζί suggests togetherness without perfection. The brief called for warmth and recognition, with enough range to move beyond a single topic or visual format. A logo tied too closely to one pictured situation would tell only part of that story.
Three ways to express togetherness.
Early explorations made the idea tangible. “Δίπλα” used two places on a bench: a shared space. “Χωράμε” brought rounded pieces together: separate parts within a whole. The punctuation direction shifted the focus towards dialogue, leaving the subject of the conversation open.

Let the symbol begin an exchange.
The final mark places two facing punctuation forms at different heights. The space and relationship between them suggest two voices. Ink navy gives the identity clarity; apricot adds warmth. The approved letterforms remain intact across stacked, horizontal and small-signature applications.

A flexible system for a varied voice.
Noto Sans keeps Greek copy clear. Around that stable foundation, the content can change form. Some ideas need only a short sentence and a pause. Others work best through a recognisable scene or a conversation with a payoff. The selected work includes both restrained ink drawing and more detailed comic illustration.

Show the idea in use.
In the mechanic post, the customer’s claim about a noise above 200 km/h sets up the reply. In the winter-clothes illustration, the crowded bed makes the problem visible before the dialogue finishes the joke. Elsewhere, a long voice-note duration or an overfilled drawer carries the observation. The format follows the idea.

What holds it together.
The finished system combines a distinct logo family, Greek typography, a warm colour palette and an observational tone. Consistency comes from those recurring decisions, while the content has room to vary in subject, density and emotional register.
